We've all known them - the lunch ladies.

Whether we had them at our schools or they are at those of our children, they do play a very special role.

What I've always admired is how a great lunch lady knows every child....every child. She (or he.....but generally always a she) knows the little nuances of how they behave, their likes, dislikes.
