Learning from Caine's Arcade
Every child has a world of creativity in his or her heart...and it's trying desperately to get out. Yet, as the years in school mount, children learn to stifle the creativity, hold back their thoughts, and learn to progress through their middle and high school years much quieter than when they entered the system.
When he was 9 years old, Caine Monroy spent his summer with cardboard boxes.
Lots of them.
And that began a movement from which we can all learn.
